I built this life for more joy and more wealth,
and one morning walk changed everything.
I left my nursing career thinking it would bring me more joy and expand my wealth. I stepped away from the space that caused tears, stress, and overwhelm. I wanted more presence, more spaciousness, more flow. But that's not what I found. I found myself in the same spiral - last time it was emotional, this time it was financial. I had an overstimulated nervous system, I was feeling on edge, not manifesting the life I actually wanted, and not having the overflowing abundance I craved. Externally, everything seemed well.. but I knew it wasn't. I was short with my husband, feeling disconnected, impatient with my kids, pouring from an empty cup, and I just had this underlying feeling that more was available, but I had no idea how to tap into it. I tried inner work, nervous system practices, strategies for business, I tuned in, I felt like I was doing all the things that were supposed to resolve the feeling, but it was still there.
Until one day it hit me, I was on a morning walk, sun shining down, dog by my side, kids in the stroller, and I realized this was the life I once dreamed of. The life I once desired sooo badly. And I was living it - a body of work that lights me up, clients I'm obsessed with, a husband I love so deeply, three boys who fill my heart with more joy than I knew possible, a vacation home we spend time at every month. I had all the things I once hoped for. My eyes welled up with tears in a kind of gratitude I just can't put into words. THIS was the joy I had been searching for and it was right in front of me. I began tapping into that joy, into feminine desire, into embodied energetics, I healed my relationship with money, and something shifted. Like wildly shifted. Life opened up, opportunities came out of nowhere, money flowing in, and it was all happening with ease, joy, and presence. I was the most regulated I had been in a long time.
